Bits & Pieces

Wake Up America!

Requiring seventh-grade students to pretend they're Muslims, wear Islamic garb, memorize verses from the Quran, pray to Allah and even to play 'jihad games' in California public schools has been legally upheld by a federal judge, who has dismissed a highly publicized lawsuit brought by several Christian students and their parents.
BUT... also in California, a teacher has been barred by his school from using documents - including the Declaration of Independence - to teach American history simply because there is a reference to God or Creator in them. See for yourself...

Quotable Quotes

If I despised myself, it would be no compensation if everyone saluted me; and if I respect myself, it does not trouble me if others hold me lightly.
~ Max Nordau

Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking. There are too many people who think that the only thing that's right is to get by, and the only thing that's wrong is to get caught.

Character is much easier kept than recovered.

Newsletter Issue 11

2004 is quickly coming to an end. And what a year it has been!  Keep reading to find out why there's been such a long break since the last ThreeWorldWars.com newsletter!

For me, personally, 2004 has been a truly awesome year…

I was finally able to break free from the shackles of a salaried position in June, went traveling through Thailand, Malaysia and South Africa for 6 months, including island-hopping in the most pristine waters I have ever seen.  God's creation, before man's grubby hands destroy it, is surely breathtaking.

I also had the privilege of running a rather unique Jungle Bar on an island in Malaysia, something I've never done before and which certainly taught me many new lessons.

I've also been able to make several new “breakthrough” distinctions when it comes to relationships, including renewing dormant relationships with my family.  (I will share a few of these breakthroughs in a moment).  In addition, I was able to discover the Purpose of my Life (written under a pseudonym).

Another meaningful activity for me was the completion of a photo album spanning 15 years of my life, by finally working through a significant number of photographs I'd been storing for many years.  If you have photo's still stored in envelopes I'd encourage you to sort through them and place them in an album.  The process is an extremely rewarding activity as it will bring back memories of enjoyable times from the past, and reinforce the importance of people who may have crossed your path, and particularly those that are still in your life who you may be taking for granted.  Taking time out from your busy schedule to reminisce like this is an excellent use of your time, and I'd highly recommend it.

So, what does this edition of the 3WW Newsletter have in store for you?

Putting Things into Perspective

As fantastic a year 2004 has been for me, it wasn’t without its challenges and personal “negatives.”

I was made aware of several people battling with life threatening diseases.  Thankfully, all of them are now doing well in their fight against their health challenges.  At the same time, they have been an inspiration to me.  Of all the stupid and silly things I sometimes worry about, these people really put things into perspective for me.

The next time you have any kind of personal setback or difficulty, I would challenge you to think about many others that are battling for their LIVES – let alone something so trivial as worrying about the worsening world situation, and the ongoing theft of our liberties,  or how to buy a fancier car, or why a job sucks.  Really THINK about them. Suddenly you’ll realize that your worries are so tiny they aren’t even worth your energy to worry about.

Let me ask you a question…

“How Would You Feel If You Knew Your Child Was Possibly Going To DIE?”

Suddenly the fact that your life may have a few challenges would be the least of your worries…

Well, this is exactly what a nice family from Melbourne, Florida, USA is going through right now. You see, their son was recently diagnosed with leukemia. And as I’m sure you know, leukemia kills people like crazy. It’s a SERIOUS condition that often ends people’s lives.

Sean Hargreaves is the name of the young man that is battling for his life.  Sean’s family has set up a trust to raise money to help with Sean’s medical bills, and as part of the Internet Marketing community, I'd like to help to get the word out about it.

You can learn more about Sean, and even give a small (or large) PayPal donation by visiting: helpsean.com.

I immediately gave to this worthy cause the moment I heard about it and hope you do the same.

The Importance of Relationships

The importance of relationships has been a recurring theme for me this year.  It's a sad fact that the average Western relationship is but a shadow of what they could be.  How many long-term relationships are you aware of that are truly fulfilling for both partners?  How exciting is your marriage?

The first step to achieving a relationship which becomes a lifelong love affair is to understand that all life is governed by law - nature, music, art and all of the sciences. These laws never change, no matter how much things around us seem to be in a state of constant chaos. To live in harmony with these laws produces vibrant health, engaging relationships, abundant joy, clarity of thought, unparalleled judgment and a fulfilled life. To violate them produces strife, stress and destruction. 1

These laws are in operation, whether you are aware of them and understand them, or not.  Much the same as the law of gravity continues working whether you understand it or not. You may already have an exciting relationship because you understand and abide by the laws of human relationships, or you may be trapped in an unsatisfying and frustrating relationship because you're subject to a different set of man-made laws.

Through ignorance of the laws of human relationships, much unnecessary strife exists. Knowledge, understanding and application of these laws lifts your relationship out of the mediocre and places it on a heavenly plane.  It is the flowers rather than the weeds, the banquet rather than the crumbs.

One of the lessons I learnt recently is powerful in it's simplicity.  An earlier discovery of this principle would have prevented much early strife in my relationships, and I'd encourage you to think carefully about the relevance of this in your relationship:

The most important need a man has in a relationship is to feel appreciated, admired and respected.  Without her appreciation his life is but an empty shell.

The most important need a woman has in a relationship is to feel loved and cherished.  Without his love her life is but an empty shell.

Without appreciation, there is no love; without love there is no appreciation.

So the challenge in any relationship is who starts the ball rolling first.

As simple as the little statement above is, the relevance and importance of it is smothered by the barrage of commercialized quick-fix relationship advice we are all exposed to.  Consider the titles of articles in your average men or women's magazines which proliferate newsstands today.  With few exceptions, all of them violate or ignore the unchanging laws of human relationships.  Is it any wonder then that divorce rates are so high today?

Fortunately though, it is still possible to find useful information which can truly elevate your relationship into the stratosphere.

In an attempt to discover some of the principles of the laws of human relationships, I came across a number of highly rewarding books, written more than 30 years ago.  The fact that they're fairly old is refreshing, because the authors tend to have a better understanding of these laws than more modern writers.

If your relationship is currently less than stellar, I can highly recommend any of the following books:

  • Fascinating Womanhood, by Helen Andelin, 1963, Bantam Books, New York, NY.  (Also see website at FascinatingWomanhood.net.)

  • The Priceless Gift, by Eleanor Wilson McAdoo, 1962, McGraw Hill Book Co., New York, NY.

  • The Ego in Love & Sexuality, by Dr. Edrita Fried, 1960, Grune & Stratton Inc., New York, NY.

  • Education for Marriage, by James A. Patterson, 1964, Scribner & Sons, New York, NY.

  • Man of Steel and Velvet: A Guide to Masculine Development, by Aubrey Andelin, 1990, Pacific PR

How to Change Your Mindset

“The REAL Way To Increase Your Chances Of Big-Time Success In 2005 Is To Have The Right Mindset”

You’ve probably heard that term before… “mindset.”

But maybe you’ve never paid much attention to it, or you thought it was just a bunch of mumbo jumbo nonsense. Well, if you change your mindset you CAN change your rate of success.  In fact, your mindset can be the difference between success and failure.

I am a BIG believer in having a proper mindset to influence my strategy, and my life's purpose. I have seen it time and time again. How I THINK (plain and simple) has a dramatic impact on what I do, and ultimately, how satisfying my life is.

Over the past 18 months there’s one person that has had the biggest impact on my personal mindset and how I “think” about building a fulfilling life… The person I am talking about is Stephen Pierce.

Stephen became a self-made multi-millionaire by starting and successfully growing MANY businesses.  Stephen is the quintessential entrepreneur. He owns an oxygen bar in a mall, has several vending machines, sells information products to several markets, successfully trades the markets, is an accomplished writer and speaker, and is flat-out a powerful inspiration for any entrepreneur that gets the pleasure of listening and learning from him…

But Stephen's life hasn't all been a bed of roses.  He was once shot -  Yes, as in BANG BANG, you might die!  Stephen was a high school dropout, and was once completely bankrupt.  Stephen has lived an extraordinary life and has unbelievable wisdom for someone as young as he is. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to hear Stephen speak then you know exactly what I’m talking about.  He truly is an inspiration.

If you aren’t inspired to get up off your butt and achieve greatness after listening to Stephen, then there isn't much hope for you!

Stephen has just created an AMAZING new product..

“The Secrets To Creating Wealth”

It’s a 2-CD audio set. Believe me when I say, “It’s incredible.”  You MUST listen to this thing. It goes beyond just making money – although that part alone will really help you to develop an additional source of  income, if that's what you want for 2005.  Stephen touches on some very profound methods for creating a more fulfilling life that contains anything you truly desire.  It’s extremely powerful and moving.

I can’t say anymore about it because me trying to describe it just doesn’t do it justice. This is something you’ll have to hear for yourself.  That’s all I can say.  Go and grab your copy right now. (It’s very inexpensive.)  Go and get your copy and sit back and listen to Stephen and see how his message can transform your life.  Don’t wait.  Get it right this second.  I promise, it won’t hurt a bit: SecretsOfCreatingWealth.com

Wrapping Up

If you're celebrating Christmas at this time, please remember the real reason for the celebration, and not the mostly unknown, unholy history behind Christmas trees, mistletoes, Santa Claus or the ancient midwinter celebration of a mother-goddess with the midwinter babe.

Long ago, the King whose birth Christians the world over celebrate, stood in Jerusalem watching a world too blinded by human wants and ambitions to see the Savior in their midst. "If you had known," He said with unspeakable sorrow, "the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes." Luke 19:42.

Today, more than 2000 years later, we seem to be no closer to the things that make for our peace.

May God truly bless you and yours as we prepare for yet another tumultuous year.  May you be kept safe and sound, always conscious of the propaganda being blasted at us on a daily basis to keep us dumbed-down and ignorant of the real goings on in the world.

Live Free and Keep Thinking!

1 Psalm 1:1-2: Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked..., but who delights in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
