There is nothing more rewarding than receiving
feedback about this site, so I would love to hear your
thoughts, comments and questions.
However, I'll be honest that it's impossible for me to
answer every query and respond to every email. I limit
my email answering to 1 hour every day, which means the
majority of the 100+ responses I receive are not responded to.
I hope you'll understand.
If you have a question, the first
place you should visit is the
Frequently Asked
Questions - as you might guess, these are the questions
most often asked by anyone contacting me, and chances are good
your question, or something similar to your question, will be
there. If you've already checked and can't find an
answer, read on!
There are a few pointers which, if followed, will improve
your chances of getting a response:
-
Be nice! While I'm not suggesting you
would do it, some people write demanding an answer, or
help with their research. Please bear in mind that the
site is a labor of love
performed by one individual. So an email will sometimes go
unanswered for a few days. Saying a few nice words about
the site always gets my attention and usually results in a
quicker response ;-)
-
If you are querying something on the site,
please quote the exact text and ideally include the URL
(www...) to which you refer. Unless you include this I
won't know which page you're referring to, particularly since
this is not the only site I run.
-
If you wish to point out any inaccuracies,
(which I hope you will take the time to do), please provide a
source for your information. I take my research very
seriously and will only change something on the site if it can
be independently verified.
I haven't provided full contact
details because of threats received from people who don't
fully agree with what's contained in this site. But rest assured
that I am a real person! And I will respond to any
reasonable requests, provided they're not covered in the
FAQ's
or in the Forum. I hope you'll
understand!
