Once again another year has flown by and
little do we realize how much has been accomplished this year
in preparing us for the next World War. This includes the
ongoing theft of our First Amendment rights, in much the same
way rights were stripped from Germans in the 1930’s as Hitler
steadily built his dictatorship.
Here's a quote from Douglas Reed, a British
reporter, writing about the loss of freedom Germans
experienced the night of the Reichstag fire.
“When Germany awoke, a man's home was no
longer his castle. He could be seized by private
individuals, could claim no protection from the police,
could be indefinitely detained without preferment of
charges; his property could be seized, his verbal and
written communications overheard and perused; he no longer
had the right to foregather with his fellow countrymen, and
his newspapers might no longer freely express their
opinions.”
On March 23, 1933, the Enabling Act was
passed in Germany, which ultimately gave Hitler his
dictatorial authority. It should be noted, that everything
done by the Third Reich was legal, and done under "colour of
law." History is being repeated once again.
On October 26, 2001, President Bush signed
the USA Patriot Act (USAPA) into law. With this law the US
have given sweeping new powers to both domestic law
enforcement and international intelligence agencies and have
eliminated the checks and balances that previously gave courts
the opportunity to ensure that these powers were not abused.
Most of these checks and balances were put into place after
previous misuse of surveillance powers by these agencies,
including the revelation in 1974 that the FBI and foreign
intelligence agencies had spied on over 10,000 U.S. citizens.
On February 7, 2003, the Center for Public
Integrity obtained a draft copy of the Domestic Security
Enchantment Act of 2003. Attorney General John Ashcroft’s
staff drafted this bill, which is now being referred to as
Patriot Act II.
Dr. David Cole, Georgetown University Law
professor, reviewed the draft at the request for the Policy
Center and gave this assessment:
“…the legislation raises a lot of serious
concerns. It's troubling that they have gotten this far
along and they've been telling people there is nothing in
the works. This proposed law will radically expand law
enforcement and intelligence gathering authorities, reduce
or eliminate judicial oversight over surveillance, authorize
secret arrests, create a DNA database based on unchecked
executive suspicion, create new death penalties, and even
seek to take American citizenship away from persons who
belong to or support disfavored political groups.”
This proposed bill was sneakily signed into
power by President Bush on December 13th, while the world's
media were focussed on the capture of Saddam.
If you’ve read much of the information on
ThreeWorldWars.com you will know that the gradual taking away
of our rights is but a part of the plan to implement the next
World War.
I have posted an analysis of 2003’s major
news events in the context of WW3. This will be updated over
the coming days as 2003 draws to a close.
As we start preparing for a New Year and
making resolutions, it befits us to remember the chilling
words of someone arrested by the Third Reich:
"In Germany, they came first for the
Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a
Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak
up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Trade
Unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Trade
Unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't
speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me,
and by that time, no one was left to speak up." - Rev. Dr.
Martin Niemoeller, July 1, 1937.
Will you speak up before it’s too late?
The easiest way is to send a copy of the
Underground 911 Report to
anyone you know, with a request to pass it on. There is a link
at the bottom of the page to make it easy for you.
May I take this opportunity of thanking you
for supporting ThreeWorldWars.com this year by your very
effective efforts at spreading the news. From humble
beginnings in July this year, more than 50,000 different
people have now visited us in just six short months. The
site’s popularity as measured by Alexa.com has risen from a
lowly 2 million to under 100,000. As of today, our ranking is
95,022, which is a fantastic Christmas gift. It means that
this important message is being spread far and wide, and THAT
is the bottom line!
Speaking of Christmas, in today’s
politically correct world it’s no longer appropriate to say
anything other than ‘Happy Holidays’.
Well, in keeping with my aim of ‘bucking
the trend’, here’s a traditional Christmas greeting for you,
and one which is heartfelt. I know that readers of other
faiths will forgive my indulgence and simply stop reading at
this point.
May the Christ of Christmas become more meaningful to you
this year, and may this time of year be truly blessed for you
and your family. Have a very happy Christmas, and a fulfilling
2004.
As you celebrate Christmas this year,
please remember the real reason for the celebration, and not
the mostly unknown, unholy history behind Christmas trees,
mistletoes, Santa Claus or the ancient midwinter celebration
of a mother-goddess with the midwinter babe.
Long ago, the King whose birth we
celebrate, stood in Jerusalem watching a world too blinded by
human wants and ambitions to see the Savior in their midst.
"If you had known," He said with unspeakable sorrow, "the
things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from
your eyes." Luke 19:42
Today, more than 2000 years later, we seem
to be no closer to the things that make for our peace.
May God truly bless you and yours.
