I would like to contribute a website http://www.Survivaltime.org which contains everything that will help survive not only WW-III, but any other disaster, civil disturbance or event which disrupts normal life.
I have been a survivalist for many years, with a focus on and experience with Hurricanes. Since I lived in Florida all my life, most of it in Miami. I've never really known anyone unprepared for hurricanes, till I moved to central florida.
I helped people survive during the 3 weeks there was no power, water or food in our immediate area. Now if that could be multiplied across every city in every state, I think you'd get the idea of how bad it will be.
People I lived near had no idea how to do some of the most basic of things and it's my fear, if something MAJOR hits the US, the greatest loss of life will be due to the same level of ignorance of basic survival. |

That's a good site. Thanks for posting the link.
I can relate to your interest in hurrican survival, having gone through Rita and Ike. I had a food storage program in place and relied on it. Fortunately, the local National Guard passed out cases of MREs and ice. A person learns to appreciate survivalism by experience! _________________ www.richard-t-osborne.com |
