It's only a matter of time before the nukes start flying across the sky, the earth is going to become hell in a few years, life is going to suffer, one nuke makes about 400km area around it uninhabitable, just how many nukes will we need to cover the whole world? wikipedia says only 1/8th of the world surface is fit for survival for humans, The Earth's terrain varies greatly from place to place.
