Celebrity Conspirators?
Are celebrities being used by leaders of the New World Order as a tool to distract the public from paying too close attention to the actions that are leading us towards the next planned World War? I’m sure that most peoples’ reaction to that statement will probably be, “Of course not, that’s just silly.” But is it? With the ridiculous antics of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and Britney Spears being reported on with surprising regularity, even by so-called respected newscasters and journalists, if it’s not a tactic, perhaps it should be.
From larger-than-life celebrity weddings, babies, and divorces to the seemingly daily acts of celebrity stupidity, addiction, and sex-tape seductions, the news seems saturated with these nearly instantaneous reports of the rich, famous, and nearly famous. While American and British troops are being brutally slaughtered everyday by extremists and terrorists, most people seem more preoccupied by who Jessica Simpson is dating or what bizarre thing Tom Cruise will do next. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my big money, action-hero celebrity movie stars, my reality-TV pseudo-celebrity stars, and my simply-famous-because-they’re-rich-and-beautiful stars, but lately it seems like these folks are more frequently known for their day-to-day faux pas and foibles rather than for their talents and skills. Is it possible that these select few are part of a larger plot to keep the public looking left while the activities of those who control our destiny are to the right?
Let’s look at the facts. Hollywood and its celebrities have always been used by interested parties to change the feelings, opinions, or beliefs of the general public. Before, during, and after World War II, the movies were regularly used to sway the public’s opinion of what was going on in other parts of the world. Using newsreels, propaganda films, and mainstream blockbuster films to depict the war from the allied point-of-view, Americans supported the war without really knowing the details. Celebrities have been used specifically to rally support for troops and military actions, such as Elvis during the early years of the Vietnam War. While he never served in Vietnam and was just about as far away from real combat as he could get in Germany, don’t think for a second that Elvis was drafted or that his military service was voluntary. If nothing else, we’ve learned that celebrities can get out of just about everything…even murder, OJ. However, have no doubt that his stint in the military was completely and totally a planned move by some one or some group who had the power and the need to get the most popular entertainer of the time to join the military and show the people that war was fun and glamorous, not deadly.
Today, the allure of doing actual military service has lost its appeal for those in entertainment. When’s the last time you’ve heard of a celebrity joining the military? Post-Elvis Vietnam took care of that. So, the powers that be could be using other tactics to distract and disorient the public. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the reality-TV era began just before September 11th. While we mindlessly watched Regis give money to people who knew a lot about nothing important on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and a group of stranded islanders compete for food and luxuries on Survivor, the plot to fly planes into America’s buildings unfolded, seemingly unnoticed by everyone. Then, as the world stared in awe at the destruction, we willingly and easily went back to watch those and many more shows like them as if unwilling to let go of the nothing-can-hurt-us, make-believe reality that Hollywood produces.
Perhaps it’s not a conspiracy, but a coincidence. Perhaps celebrities today really are as stupid as they seem. Perhaps it’s just human nature to want to escape from the realities of everyday life and the problems of the world. However, people need to be reminded that Hollywood always produces a happy ending, yet the boys and girls coming home in body bags will never get to see that version.

It doesn’t take a big leap to understand that our obsession with celebs mirrors the decidence that God seen in Solom and Gomorrah. God found it necessary to destroy the people who turned away from him because they lost any form of decencity. Is it any different today? We are all “small” in the big scope of things and the fight between good and evil underlines everything we do because it is God’s battle. We are to follow him where ever he see fit, but we lost the way. It is only a matter of time before God evens the score and rids the earth of those who offer no help.
